Hello to all, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up to my new website. I just lauched it about a week before the SOS, so please bare with me as I am still loading items for sale. I also wanted to say that I have read other threads in regards to "why is this forum is dying", well there are a lot of factors involved, but IMO if the arguing and fighting stops and more positive & constructive views are presented, then you will see more imput from well known SS collectors. Keep in mind that this website and forum was an excellent idea brought to us via Craig Gottlieb. It has brought several collectors from around the world together, which in the past, wasn't possible. I hope that this forum will survive, but it is going to take a lot work from all of us to rebuild its credibility. Anyway, that is my two cents worth. If you look on my website you will see a gallery section. There I have posted collar tabs from my personal collection, so that any collector that has questions about a piece of SS cloth can go there and compare to known originals. I am still working on it, so again, please bare with me. I will be adding at a later time cuff titles, shoulder boards, uniforms , and headgear. Here is the link to my site. www.vtmilitaria.com Thanks, Grant

Hi Grant,

I really like the look of your site. Of course how can you go wrong with all those original items on there? The gallery of known originals for collectors to compare to is also a great idea. Best of luck for a successful website.

Cheers,

Darryl

Nice job with your web site lots of original and rare SS material. I'll be visiting your web site more often and hopefully I'll find something to buy before it all goes away. Smile

Hello Grant-Great idea and with your impressive collection, you will be able to keep adding to the Gallery. I look forward to some runic tab variants and of course original cuffbands in that category. Wish you'd have told me about your site when we talked at the SoS.
Your sales offerings will also be a welcome addition to the current market.
Anyhow, I hope you will keep the site growing-Regards, M. Bando
