Does anybody know where J.Dirlam und Sohne rates on the McSarr list?

Thanks,

Richard

You are not supposed to reply to questions like this- have them buy the list so the $ goes to GD. Mike

Yes, I'll probably do a new one for the MAX- but wont be any great changes-I'll just make all of my daggers rarer. Mike (joke)

Question: does the Mcsarr rating apply to only early MM stamped peices or to later RZM pieces as well?

Only Early Maker Mark SA's are covered by McSarr, RZM pieces are not covered , but it would be great if a list could be done.

A list of known RZM makers for SA/NSKK would not be too difficult to generate.

A rarity listing would be more difficult as I think that RZM SA/NSKK daggers are collected based on condition, not the RZM mark.

As opposed to the early ones, the RZM (and doubled marked) daggers are often made of mixed materials and some of these have degenerated over time. This complicates any rating process.
