Many, Many Thanks Drbill! I believe they are OK, but you never really know nowadays. I try to ask quetions before I use or try to sell anything. But it seems like everybody wants to wait and THEN Jump you after you do something with these items and treat you like you are some kind of crook. But, I really do appreciate your input. Sorry to ask for another comment, but did the photos come up OK for you? RG88

Most of the time when people do not answer it is because they are not sure enough to post an opinion.

I agree with Dave, I think the silence had nothing to do with who you are, but rather the items that you have shown.
These early ones are hard to pin down as to authenticity, as compared with the later ones that have a known number of makers and variations, and easily referenced RZM numbers and markings. The early pattern eagles were used by both SA & SS and exist great number so they have not yet become all that valuable. The skulls exist in a wide variety of materials and designs and were also in use by other organizations. I think those are factors why these early sets have not reached the level of collectability as the later ones.
I think yours are probably real, the eagles head looks a little small, but its probably ok.
I like this forum, it does have some issues, but I would rather hear from people I know and respect their knowledge than from a great multitude of people that I have no idea their level of expertise, and they are responding without any basis of fact. I think some respondents on other forums may not even actually have a collection...
