Nazi Proofed (with Waffenamt WaA255 on underside of guard and Nazi eagle proof overstamped on Imperial proof on guard) Imperial German Cavalry/Artillery Saber...This is really unusual and I would think quite scarce...Has anyone seen this before? Ed, Here is my example. There are pictures of the sword in use attached to the saddles. Is there a maker's mark underneath the langet? Also is the grip walnut, or a composite type material? From the images I'm having a problem determining which it is. Best Regards, FP
