I just acquired this EP&S NSKK, and have some questions with pics. I appreciate any input, thanks guys. Ok, what I know allready: The scabbard is re-painted black (badly) also I noticed the #s 747 marked beneath the throat fitting on the scabbard which leads me to believe that the scabbard is a repro. The fittings seem to be aluminum instead of the Nickel/Silver veriety?? if so, did they have them as well?? Also it looks like the grip was once painted black?? i notice remnents of black paint in the nicks of the grip? wierd? Now the blade looks funny to me as well, I purchased as a ground Rohm and it looks like perhaps a professional ground job if at all?? There are pics of the blade as well, but it just looks wierd to me, thoughts?? Thanks again in advance..

Maybe I should have posted in the Rohm forum, but Im not shure if this is actually a real ground Rohm.. Also It looks like there are a bunch of E.P.& S. Rohms showing up!!! Wierd!! But very cool!

I don't see anything obviously wrong with this dagger. The maker mark looks correct (closer pics would be helpful). Is this a fully ground Rohm or partial?? If it has been gound you should be able to tell fairly easily because the central ridge of the blade will be much less pronounced where the etching was (as opposed to where the maker mark is. I don;t know about the scabbard or fittings. I think posting this in the Rohm forum would be the best... Good luck! Johnny
