I was hoping someone could help me identify this patch.It is very similar to the 507th but has a couple differances.Thanks for any help.

It's nothing I'm familiar with. Looks like it's supposed to be a black widow.. which made me think maybe something to do with the P-61 - though a fellow with a parachute certainly wouldn't be the best squadron patch!

This is the most often seen design of the 507th PIR patch:

In Morgan's patch book there is four different designs of the 507th pata inf regt. This one is on page 37 on the bottom right. The one that jerry shows is on page 38 top left.

I was digging though my library looking for a book on lunchboxes and refound my patch books and all the asmic catalogs. But I didnt find that damn lunchbox book. Oh well that book is probably buried under the unread ss books.
