I am looking to buy an authentic honor ring and am just lost in terms of where to buy. I want the ring to have documents with it that guarantee its authenticity. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it ,thanks.

This is the same guy that Don Boyle would send you to. Good luck in your search.

Andy is on the very, very short list of whom I would purchase an Honor Ring from. My advice is that you better get a certificate from Don Boyle as a PRE-condition before you pay for the ring itself, no matter whom you get a ring from. At re-sale time...you are going to get your investment back as opposed to a finding out you may have a fake and lost thousands. This happened to a very good friend and noted SS collector most of us are very familiar with. Mark

Vodka:
Listen to Kingtiger...no matter where you buy, get a Don Boyle certification as a pre condition.

I would probably put Andy of Military Nut on top of the list as he is tight with Don Boyle. I have seen Andy's certificates with the rings he sells. There should be no problem with Andy. He's one of the good guys who knows plenty.

I don't remember anyone having an issue with an item purchased from Andy. He's the only dealer I know of that I would buy an Honor Ring from before getting a COA from Don Boyle. Jim

If I were going to spend that kind of money for a ring...I would buy from Andy,or from Don himself. Sepp GDC 0292 Gold

Vodka... You are correct in your comments....that dealer is currently embroiled in a cat fight over allegedly selling repro's and otherwise altered pieces of all types. He is scheduled to appear before the MAX certification board at the next MAX to defend the allegations made against him. My personal advice? I say "Nay Nay"! Mark

Vodka - I believe some of the rings Andy is selling ARE Don's. It doesn't matter-I believe ALL the rings Andy sells have Don's COA. I found out that the three rings on his website are only a fraction of his TKR inventory. I think he has eleven Honor Rings for sale. From $7000 up to $15,000.

Andys rings are Andys rings,,believe that! Andy has a large selection,,actually they are his own private collection but he is a natural horse trader and loves to make a deal and get new inventory.. If you don't see a ring you like on his site ask him what he's holding on to!

Dealing with Andy is half the fun of buying something from him. You will never come away feeling cheated. Jim

Andy and John would be the go to guys if you want a nice ORIGINAL ring. There are really no bargains out there on original rings IMO.
