Hi guys,
could use your help on this one. it's posted on a belgian forum, and the opinions are mixed. I don't like the fit of the lower crossguard , the angle the runes and think that the scabbard got a paint job (looks like overpainted oxidatie) not the typical spiderweb below anodized paint. But not to big into SS daggers so any help is welcome, so we can shed some light on the belgian forum aswell. I only have these pics, i know it's not a lot, but in the mean the dagger is also sold, so I don't think we will be able to get some extra ones. So it's just for the lesson to be learned.
thanks for the help.
joe

The parts all look real, not sure if the grip is the original one for these cross guards. The "anodizing" of the scabbard may be redone.

I think all is well. The lower grip edge might have suffered some light damage and perhaps was sanded to smooth it down. Not sure about this, but the dagger is OK.
