About twice a year I come across daggers that are little beyond denatzification. It blows my mind when I see this stuff. Rich

Rich, It looks as though somebody made a fairly good attempt at a conversion to a Bowie-type knife. They actually have the unique blade shape pretty close and with the ground upper crossguard have the overall feel of one of those knives, too. Definitely not the worst homemade conversion-job I've ever seen, at least this one has some style ... Best! B~

much btter than an old vet I met in upstate NY who was using his SA to cut the throats of his pigs- it was sharpened down to about one inch wide- his comment-"Krauts made good knives". Mike
