New here, A friend of ours is wanting to find some information on her dad's dagger collection. I have been able to tell these 3 are Hunting daggers (Hirschf�nger).
One has a blade from WK&G has 2 acorns on the handle, looks like one missing. It has WF engraved on the handle and the scabard(?)has a series of 5 dates from the 1920 on it.
The next one seems to be fancier, it has 3 acorns on it. The blade has what looks like presintation information from 1937 engraved on the blade. The blade has ALCOSO maker mark.
The last one looks like it is missing the acorn, maker mark is AF Horster. I dont have a picture of that one on my page yet.
All three have hunting scenes engraved or etched on the blade.WhatI hope to do is find out any information I can about these. Also what type of value to these have? Common? Rare? Tons of them out there forget it?
In the collection there is also a SA dagger, and a German Army dagger, and a what looks like a series 2 Luftwaffe dagger.
