Hello. Looking for information
I have a SS Dagger which has an engraved inscription on scabbard. The inscription has been heavey scratched out use alot of effort to hide what it said especially the first part of inscription. The dagger was a wedding gift ( zer vermahlung ) and i the most damaged part ( first part ) was possibly a pet or nicname for this SS man. I cant read what it says as it to badly damaged, But what i can make out reads as follows.. UNSEREM LB ???????
ZER VERMAHLUNG
STAB II/41
BTH 8.12.36

Can anyone point me in right direction to find more info on STAB II/41?
I know it is STURMBANN II 41-SS STANDARTE
Is the BTH 8.12.1936 something to do with his birthday?
or is BTH short for BAYREUTH which is were 41-ss was based in 1936. Im hopeing some one might has 41-SS STANDARTE roll call and might be able to throw more light on this SS man..
Pictures of this chained dagger on WAF...aka robinhood
Thank you folks
