I am new to medal collecting previous edge weapon collector and trying hard not to blunder.

Can anyone advise me if i am paying toooooo much (help extremely appreciated)

ek1 1st class ww1 assman, has maker stamp under pin catch (8oo) & Letter (A)

It is in original case (dark brown) with ww1 iron cross pictured on case. 3 piece construction. has no damage in good cond

IS $400 AUSSIE toooooooo MUCH thanyou to you pro's if it is does anyone know where one money for value can be found

Can anyone also advise me what are desirable crosses to collect

Can you get any photos?

If both the case and cross are original and the condition is good that price would be very fair.

Don't think I've ever seen an Assmann-marked piece and hopefully one of the other fellas who really studies these crosses will come to your aid.

Never rush into anything, do a bit of studying first. Try looking at some examples on www.derrittmeister.com to get a bit more of a feeling for these units. Make sure you're 100%
comfortable with any deal that you might get into and ask about a return policy. Being happy is what this hobby is all about, nothing less.

thankyou very much all the lads on this site are tops. Its amazing how folks from this site can spot a fake or pieces from different manufacturers it blows me away.

I am so excited about collecting but my other half hates it "Nazi" but told her she would thank me one day for collecting it should i leave this planet anyways nice meeting you all
