Have a friend recently transferred to Kosovo. Wondering if anyone here knows of what the prospects are in finding original untouched examples of German ww2 helmets? Is it tourists beware type of thing? Could it be a fresh source if there is such a place on this internet savy planet?

when I was in the Balkans 1993 there was quite a bit of WW1 FRENCH and German LIDS well used kicking around but they where snapped up and shipped back by us very fast
