On first look, I like the tunic & insignia but the hat I have doubts about. IMO the hat insignia is bad for sure. and I don't get the "warm fuzzies" looking at rest of the hat.

hi, thanks. i thought the same about the cap, but i had assumed it was part of a set. it doesnt matter now, but the blouse was about 8k usd, and the cap 4.5k usd.

If the pieces were original (I too have some problems with cap..and I there is no way for me to really even have an opinion on the tunic from the photos alone) the prices were about 50 to 75% of what they were worth.

I obtained these items for my friend from Mr.Paul Jarvis in UK 7 years ago. My friend changes his mind from SS collection to Old Japanese Porcelain. no expert but a collector ...
The cap is pure crap, the tunic looks to me like a put together. Anyhow a good tailor would also make these days a basic tunic in that cut. So the tunic needs hands on already just for the base to say more about it. But all together it looks like a big stinker to me.
