My mailman who brings me all the nice WWII stuff has this stien and would like some info on it - His grandfather gave it to him - It is not for sale but he is just interestyed in any info - I'll try to get a couple pictures on of it - Thanks

the inscription of the lid maked it a shooting prize...I can make out ...besten Sch�tzen...meaning to the best shot.
the picture depicts a german and austrian soldier showing soldarity with the german and austrian eagles in the back. Made somewhere before or during WWI.
