Hello , this decal sits on a nice M42 , I'm still inquiring who is the maker of the helmet.

Is this a real CA Pocher decal ? I think it can only be a Pocher , I've compared with examples in the K Hicks book. I do see some differences but like an expert opinion to be sure.

Thank you for your time.
Frank

Frank,

Welcome to the helmet forum here at GDC. Unfortunately the decal you posted is not a good one, in my opinion.

Cheers,

Duh ..... Those pictures are of the same decal. Look at the damage and scratches.

How can it be on two helmets ?

Definately a 1st pattern CA Pocher...but if its real or not...to me its rather close to many Original Pochers, yet at the same time is very similar to the reproduction decal on page 231 but without the exaggerated lateral cut.
