Joe. Thanks for the info on the GPB. This guy also has a stickpin that has 2 1st class iron crosses with the spanges attached. He sent me pictures of it but would this be the catagory to list it? SSman

As I said in my PM, a genuine GPB. The military pin back is worth more than the ordinary safety pin type.
Best way to find out what they are worth is go to the dealer sites and see their prices. Private sales are less. Generally these mid-number, unattributed badges go for $1500 to $2500 depending on condition and pin attachment.

Would the number 57136 on this badge be to high to find who this number was issued to? SSman

I got your email - sorry, the number is not on my list. You may want to contact Robert McDivitt (link on my website) to research it for you.

I have indentified the recipient of Goldene Ehrenzeichen Nr. 57136. If you would like to obtain photocopies of NSDAP documents relating to the recipient, please contact me via e-mail: [email protected]. Sincerely, Robert E. McDivitt www.MilitariaResearch.com
