Thought you folks were interested in some nice cufflinks. These belonged to Reichskommissar Terboven. They were found in his jacket after the war. The Reichskommissar himself committed suicide. They are now at display in a Norwegian museum.

Craig,
The Terboven cufflinks are way up north in Norway. A war museum that everyone praises. Me and the young lady were planning a trip there this year but it came to nothing unfortunately.
I have a big collection of Terbovens speeches (very rare), but no regalia. He is of course Mr BAD GUY in Norway, but from a war-time German perspective I guess he was doing what a Germans got to do...

Gaspare,
It's always good to see these nice HJ-cufflinks in the original box!

Welcome to the forum Lauriston ,,,, Platinum cufflinks, very nice! Yes, probably not German as the swastika is reversed...The swas. was used by many including the Finnish, Latvians,Greeks,Indian,China,,and of course as a good luck symbol during the late 1880s and early 20th century..., G.

Good Thread Guys, love to see more.

Hi Gaspare,
The base-material is iron. The front has a "silver"-wash (looks more like nickle).
The production-technique of the cuffling moving part is the same as your cufflinks, with swastica and tricolor in the left under corner;on page1 .
Are your cufflinks early 20's; this because the imperial tricolor.Ofcourse the nazis used these colors, red white and black in their flags.I've only seen these enamel stripes in ww1 rings.
Thanks

Benten, only 3 sets of the cufflinks were mine/are mine...

Yes, the pair you mention would be prewar/early war similar to the rings also with the 3 national color stripes.

Also interesting,,2 pair I'd say are in celluloid,,the round swastika pair from Mr.Snyder and the reverse swastikas of Lauristons..... , G.
