Hello Can someone answer for me if stag grips were ever made out of an artifical plastic for dress bayonets or Rad daggers?

I have never seen plastic stag on dress bayonets, I cant speak for RAD hewers. Artificial stag, I.E wood is quite common late war....do you have an example or just curious?.

Hello Degens,
I had an occasion to see a late production RAD hewer with what I thought was plastic. I know it wasn't stag or horn. I know that wood was utilized to produce an artificial stag, but this one was not either. Is there any other material that might have been used?
