I am intersted in buying a German Helmet to complement my Medal collection. Any suggestions on which helmet is most likely to be an original? I don't mind spending some money, but I don't care to own a fake.

No particular helmet type is prone to being real or a fake, though I believe the undecaled M42 would be the easiest to fake, but would fetch less money. Make your purchase from a reputable dealer with a good inspection/return policy.
