Yeah I saw that on Gerard's site, but is it really worth 3X the normal price for the village fire department? It's got nothing to do with Hitler's "retreat" after all. Oh well, out of my league certainly.

Let's try to keep a gentlemanly tone. If you wish to make a constructive contribution to this thread please tell us why you think that the eagle shown is not authentic.
It looks perfectly fine to me, but that is only my humble opinion.
Also, I don't think that Gary said he purchased this eagle. Last time I looked it was still for sale.
To me it is a good eagle, but way too expensive based on the village name.
