Roland,
You're kidding, right? I mean that item looks like a neo-nazi's fantasy. Please tell me that it's bogus.
Cheers,
-Mike

Rev. Mike...I was being facetious...sorry...but I bet you it will bring $25.00, at least.
Not too long ago one was on e-bay that brought $90.00 to the best of my recollection. I forget who it was, Gailen I think, said they were selling them at some show in Chicago for $5.00. I should have bought the whole truck load...smile
Mike...as far as I know there were NO TR Steins with Nazi markings on the bottom, such as TR eagles, swastikas etc. Texas...do you want to add anything here? If anybody knows it would be Texas. Thanks in advance...Roland.

PS...the battle ( siege of Leningrad)did not take place until the winter of 1941. And he says this thing was made in the 1930. Considering the names of places he has on the mug, he was pretty far sighted...Almost like Lumpazivababundus. That is the German tale of the bottle that exists somewhere out there. The reason German alcoholics give for their trunkenness. If you look into this bottle right after you emptied it you can see the future of the whole universe. That mug maker must have had a drink from that bottle. There you have it, that is my story and I stick by it. Prosit...Roland.

You are too much Roland. Actually, when I took my first look I laughed. When I saw the bottom markings I almost choked as I could not believe anyone would take it seriously. My "question" to you was facetious as well.
God Bless & PROSIT

Roll Eyes I just don't know where some people come from I really don't. What's more disturbing is their inducing, descriptive write-up, displayed for all to read.

It will sell, for there are many that believe what they are reading. I could advertise the sole of my shoe on Ebay and it will sell. People buy just about anything for I believe it makes them happy in life.

The thing is horrendous and horrifying to write the very least.

its up to $50.01 now...out of my range now.

I cant help one more observation on it. Notice the name...Ludwig Jeger...you can tell it was made for the GI market, because for the German market it would just say Ludwig Jger or for the GI market it should say Ludwig Jaeger...who ever made those thing attempted to cover both markets I guess.
For this kind of money at least it could say Joachim Piper, Pappa Eiche, Paul Hausser or at least Ernest Kaltenbrunner.

That's scandalous. A fool and their money are soon parted. Wink

The bidding must be out of sympathy surely.

I need to tell you that I have reported this violation of E-Bay rules to them. It seems to do no good. It is a repro with Nazi symbols all over it...regardless...somebody is going to have a nice pencil holder. Whit that I am out of here...your former SteinMeister will allow us...Roland
