Hello, I have these SS items and IMO it appears that I finally got lucky after being burned twice. I have compared to items on fourms and at dealer sites, now need the expert opinions. Except for two silver eagles I got them all from the same person. I couldn't find the shoulder boards, oval badge/patch, tan eagle, or green skull online. Thanks in advance for your time, Ron. The BeVo rune tab is ok, from the rest I would stay away regarding all SS eagles, skull etc. Not sure if the Lettische tab is ok but I think so.

The shoulder boards might, might be original Police. Try the Police forum to be 100%..
The German cross,not good.. That factory guard patch stands a chance though!

No, none of those SS eagles is any good. No disrespect intended, but I suggest that you do a lot more study before you spend any more money. Most of those aren't even close.

No offense taken, because that's good advice and I ordered a book last night. I don't usually buy insignia and especially not SS because it's a mine field if you don't know what your doing, obviously I don't. I didn't get hurt on these items financially, bought 30 cloth insignias for less than $300.00. One more to vett if you don't mind. Best regards, Ron.

For 300 it was ok any way! Thats the price of the BeVo rune tab!
I think the latvian is an original but the last one galizien is also a modern repro.

I agree. the two tabs are original (the Polive boards and factory guard may be) but all of the SS eagles & teh rest are bad and if you look at the army eagles they all look like the exact same style eagle in different colors.
