Not being an expert, I stay with the classic fowled anchor or sailing ship etches. Some say that the Destroyer, U-Boat, Battleship or other etches could be had during the peroid by private special order. But every one that I have ever seen discussed was unanimously deemed to be a fake. So I prefer to avoid them altogether. JMO
Best Regards, Robert

I would say not of the period. Maker mark is sloppy - scabbard bands not separately applied pieces? Dam good one though have a look at this one. Krebs navy

One thing these 2 daggers have in common are the scabbard band eyelets they dont look right to me also the details to the bands are poor the Krebs mark should be stamped is this one? Looks etched to me.

Gator..What a hoot! He's researched it and it turns out..."ORIGINAL!!" No wonder NoBoZoS can't sell his RAD Leader with all these "rarities" popping out from under the rock. -wagner-

NOTE: I have done "business" with this "dealer" and got TOTALLY had on an "Original WWII Red Wool Armband". It only cost me $41 total but when I asked for a refund, I was asked to give Pos feedback on FeeBay first which I did. Refund? Never happened. I would suggest staying away from "Pastworldantiques" TOTALLY! I have emails from disgruntled buyers. I started a "Dispute" and the seller started one on me saying that I didn't pay. I am FeeBay user: trenchart7, you can see my Feedback, etc. STAY away from this seller! Regards, lloyd

the navies are an absolute minefield, if you`ll pardon the pun. until now i`ve concentrated on sa`s and heers, but i`ve just bought my first navy, from a reputable dealer i hasten to add. i`m with daggerob on this, until i get the wittman book, i`ll stick to what i know.
