Picked this up a couple of weeks ago. I think it is ww1. I havent seen the stamp before but the squirrels look like they doing something dirty..
Can anything be said from the portope regarding regemente etc ?

The piece is definitely pre WWII, I would say Imperial & early Weimar period based on the back to back Eickhorn mark, the three riveted grip and weeping holes in the grip plate. Not sure about the portepee but I'd guess Bayern because of the blue stem. I'm sure Orpo or Houston could venture an educated guess.
