Roland, well, I've been discovered...My friend kept seeing me look at stein after stein during the SOS and he confronted me,,,'G',,you like steins! Its o.k. I'll try and keep your secret" Big Grin Wink

I really do. Don't have any 3rd reich but some modern postwar ones for display and drinking out of but I awalys check them out at shows..

There were a few really nice ones there. Saw a really nice Coburg one and it had a really nice [read super high!] price Big Grin

This photo here is from a seller from Germany. He said about 10 didn't make it and were broken to pieces Red Face....Heres the suvivors...

PS...I think I know the Coburg one...It had a helmet on top and on the bottom it said "Bayreuther Eichala"and if it was under $500.00 you should have grabbed it...Roland.

Roland, believe your right. Little on the small side..No color, all words done in brown. Had a lid which might have had a helmet engraved onto it.. Pretty sure it was a little higher than 5 though..

Well, now that I'm outed thats it! I'll be on the hunt at the MAX for some kind of cool looking period stein! , G.
