This is too good too be true, so it is probably fake. There are enough differences in the rune tab between it and a known origional I have to make me think its not real but I thought I would run it by the forum just to make sure...........Thanks in advance Jimmy

Im also sceptic when just looking at the front, although I think its a good fake if it turns out to be one. A pic of the reverse would be interesting to see.

Those rank pips looks cast to me.

methinks this tab set has promise, a shot of the reverse will be tell-tale but like the previous poster said, if fakes, they're a good
set Eek

I Don't know if they are good or not but I would probally risk the $50.The SS tab looks good to me but I tend to think that the piping may be a little too big. But as I said I only know what I have learned on this forum about SS insignia.Still a nice set of repos for $50. if they do turn out to be bad as they most likely are. Mike

Hello, everything that seller has is fake. Dont waste your $. When I look at the pips I see no detail on the edges. Best, Bill

Its the tilting of the runes and the "too" perfectly made embroidery, like machine embroidery, that is what I dont like. There is just not any feeling of a skilled workers hand embroidery to be seen, along with the seemingly cast pips.

Still I would like to see the reverse.

The runes look not right and the piping just don dsay "hello" to me. Certain things I just cannot descripe in words when you know how the real stuff look like.

The only real strength of this set is the quality of the embroidery of the runes. Other than that, everything else screams repro to me. I have seen other fakes with runes just as well executed. I wouldn't even waste $50 on them.
