I know this list is rather short, but I want to know if there are any other makers out there or other variations in makers mark other than the ones listed.

Thanks for the input. Looks like the scope of my collecting is expanding rapidly
. Then of course theres the slotted variations for each. Any pics of the rarer examples (E.Pack, Holler, Seilheimer, Puma and Holler) would be great.

Houston perhaps you would know if each of these makers produced both the regular and slotted versions of police bayonets??
Fitz,
Here's a slotted Hller with 3R production aluminum hilt that I picked up some years ago. Been there but with a great blade.
Are we including distributor marks as well? How about earlier production pieces that were reutilized in the NS zeit, like PSS pieces?
Here's a Henckels clamshell Tom Wittman had some time ago.
This one is a plain hilt Haenel, also from Tom Wittmann.
This is a Paweco from Eban. I've seen Weyersberg logos as well as the occasional Paweco which I believe is a trade name for Paul Weyersberg.
Here's a Pack clamshell from Brian Maederer's site.
Here's a Klaas from Richard Miller's site.
Thanks Billy..those are great pics.
I've added Haenel and Henckels to the list. WOW!..a Klaas too, excellent.

Late war production piece by Puma, from Eban.
Fitz,
OK, sounds good. Here's a Weimar clamshell distributor marked by Friedrich Muhlenfeld, Barmen.
Here's a clamshell, distributor marked by Wilh. Mossner, Munster from Eban.
PSS maker marked by Gebruder Hartkopf. In cluding pieces like the PSS really opens up the maker mark category, there's a bunch of marks that I don't believe made it to 3R police blades.
Same piece, distributor marked Walter & Co. Muhlhausen in Tr.
Thanks again Billy G. I have created more categories for the listings.

PSS by Pack Ohliger & Co. from Brian Maederer.
PSS by Horster, pic from Gailen David.
PSS by Henckels, distributor marked by Frister & Rossmann, Berlin, from Brian Maederer a while ago. Johnson had one a few years ago by Durkoppwerke although I don't have a logo shot to post.
Great!!!
Is there a way of distinguishing between the maker and the distributor for the PSS bayos?

Fitzer,
Since the PSS are all reworked Imperial S98/05 bayonets, any maker (or dual combination) of the S98/05 could be found on the PSS. None of these makers actually made the PSS.
Thanks for the info Orpo
The PSS is a pretty rare piece, so a listing of makers shouldn't be too extensive. By PSS maker marks I mean the makers found on PSS blades regardless if they actually made the PSS or not.
Cheers
Fitzer,
More extensive marking variations than you would think. There were over 40 maker marking combinations of the S98/05, assuming you eliminate the sawbacks. Some combinations with two makers/distributors markings change the order with different secondary markings such as Henckels with Frister & Rossmann or Anker Werke markings or Frister & Rossman with Henckels or Anker Werke with Henckels for instance.
Thats ok, I've got to start somewhere. I'm just trying to gather as much info as possible. Cheers

Fitzer,
Not sure if you want to widen your Polizei catagory any further, but here are a few more types.
First, this long bladed KS98 police type that is also occasionally seen with the Nazi police grip eagle. This particular one is Paweco.
Picture 2
non-functional mortise
Then there is the Baden police bayonet. This one is Carl Eickhorn.
I've only seen these by either Eickhorn (two rivit grip) or WKC (three rivit grip)

Glad to see this post backup and interest renewed after more than a year and a half. I'm still collecting info. Baden bayos are also good. That Hammesfahr PSS is a rare one, thanks for showing.

To expand that a little. Makers of attachable Police Bayonets? Did all the makers made Gendarmerie - rural (brown scabbard) and Schutzpolizei - municipal (black scabards) as well? I only collect Paul Weyersberg Police edged weapons. I have not seen a slotted (attachable) bayonet by this maker. And for the last 10 years I unsuccessfuly try to find a brown scabbard rural bayonet by this maker. And on a side note, I have yet to see an SS stamped Paul Weyersberg Police sword. Several makers seem to make these sidearms, but some seem to have a rather small offering.
Denny, I like REALLY your PAWECO pieces. I am on the lookout for those was well.

Yeah, if you are collecting Paul Weyersberg, you definately need a few Paweco pieces in your stable. I've always liked them and the early oval Paul Weyersberg marked blades myself.

No Limits,
Great short clamshell with very nice distributor mark. Looks like an Alcoso hilt.

Fitz,
Great work, an excellent compilation of info. One addition, Eick Polizei pieces also occasionally bear the over the shoulder mark as well.
Thanks Billy G and thanks for your contributions and others which have kept this thread going. The more police bayonets I look at (and acquire) the more I learn about them. I believe there's still a ton more information to be discovered on these bayonets.

Fitzer,
Here is my Alex Coppel, this is a slotted version.
And Clemen & Jung
Clamshell Eickhorn
Private purchased Eickhorn. This bayonet is smaller & (much) lighter than standard Polizei issued bayonets.
Aurelia,
A beautiful selection of police bayonets, especially the long Eickhorn clamshell & the private purchase '35-'41 marked one. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Hello,
can you make a differnt List for service Police Bayonets and private ones?
also the are differnet modells for service bayontes. "Polizeiseitengewehr aufpflanzbar", "Polizeiseitengewehr nicht aufpflanzbar" and the "Polizeiseitengewehr, Sonderausfhrung".
The shown Bayonet with the maker Demag AG Duisburg is a modifed S98/05 and so a "Polizieseitengewehr Sonderausfrhung"
The list is for all types of police bayonets otherwise the thread loses focus.
I have another maker to add to the regular Police Bayonet list; Anton Wingen Jr. per Bill Shea's Website
