I have one somewhere in storage. It is from the late 60s or maybe early 70's It is real thin with a picture of a eagle and wreath on the front cover. All the photos are black and white.
There was an early paper back set of two reference books seems like all color pictures one included pictures of a number of armbands the second covered SS items. Have long since forgotten the titles and the author. Someone will remember.
There is an older reference that has a small section on Heer related armbands. None that you haven't seen. There is one picture of Two Generals wearing the mourning armband low down near the cuff. German Army Uniforms and Insignia 1933-1945 by: Brian L. Davis.
It has been and will remain one of my go to references from the time I first became aware of it due to the (IMO), excellent content.
Back in the late 60's or early 70's,Stan Bozich put out a book on German Armbands,B/W pics however,,,I have a copy somewhere...Also B.L.Davis put out a book on "Cloth Insignia of the Third Reich 1933-1945" that includes 5 pages of color armbands,,,,Robert
'Supplement 1 Armbands' , WOW haven't seen that in ages. There used to be a few of those old monographs around.. And, the McCarthy small sized books like that.. At the big shows you'll find plenty of the older references... Hey K.Bullets,,,you should do one!! Monographs are big again the last few years..
