Here is another Toledo gold inlay LC ring. It belonged to a member of the Herman Goering Fallschirmjaeger Flak Regiment. His name was Karl Engels. The seller gave me a photo of him taken in 1940 in Hildesheim.

I also have a couple of nice rose gold LC rings. Two Luftwaffe, one Panzer. I really like the Third Reich prewar rings. Some of them are very cool...

That is also a beautiful ring. I would agree that 30s rings can be very unique and elaborate using high quality materials. After 1940 I really think you must be looking at wartime affecting materials through scarcity and the shift to rations and war materials. I do not know how many silver and gold rings were made post 40 of high quality but I would imagine that the number must have been on the decline.

Another wonderful ring.. Niello work at some of its finest!! Love those with the gilt inner band.. What a nice ring!! Congrats!!

as I have heard, now in Toledo sometimes make these rings ...
a very complex topic of such rings, for complete identification,
it can be modern execution ...
I try not to buy such a ring
