Hi everyone- I'm not sure we did this for 2015 but we did for 2014...so since it's already December...let's see what goodies we found this year! What's 2016s best and brightest? I had quite a few big finds but I am particularly attached to my 1935 Braunschweig J.Sch. skull - man what a ring, for a skull guy like me- hell of a find.., what was your big pick, find, or acquisition? Please share with us all!

This was my worst year ever. Think that one Polit ring and the flag bracelet was my only hauls this year. The longer you collect the harder it gets to find something!

??? Trig- this pix is from the 50s!! I'm thinking that policeman certainly saw life from 33-45 maybe as a soldier in the Wehrmacht... or something else!!! Maybe a member of the SD?? (Well maybe that's reaching but u never know!!!)

I couldn't narrow mine down to just one, as I like them all, so these are a few of my favorites this year..an Italian DAK with swaz, a diamond shaped Italian DAK with palm and deer, and a Gegen Engelland with about 65% of its original silver wash. On the Allied side, a silver and enamel 20th Air Force, and Silver and gold 1942 China with stone.

Time for me to post some purchases just made couple of months ago. November was best and i have to thank member Chris who sold me this SS ring which originally came out of Gaspare collection.

from december these 3 rings with very nice rare Norge 1940 Trondheim ring

Hard to say but definitly this rings are my favorite among rings I have bought this year.

Piotr!! I LOVE that "pirate" skull.. was it polish early ww1? I forget.... outstanding!!! One day I will find a "sieg" of my own...nice job enameling on the luft, really sharp looks like new! Great rings!!

What a group!

This pirate skull ring it is probably German ring founded on August 1915 when German Army entered Warsaw on WW1. I do not know where it was manufactured. This one is a dud found near Warsaw by a fellow digger.

Ado, hello!
Very interesting makers mark on NORGE ring. I saw only "J.J." and "VT" and all was marked below 830S marking. What the last character on your marking "P.O.?" Can you show front side?

Re my Ring of the year 2016... it is bought and paid for and will be delivered now soon...Let's hope it'll arrive safe and sound, but it might be only in 2017!
I'd still love to post it here in this thread, because this one is special... :-)
