marked et64 production number 6459 a bit salty on the interior liner is marked but a bit worn hard to read, mediteranian camo
my thoughts are that it looks like a piece of modern art
You better pass on this one...

Graham, not a good one, fake liner, straps, paint and wire. Not a very good fake but the usual type of helmet seen at UK shows.
Is it your helmet? If not I would be interested to hear who's selling it. Tim.
whoever put this together could have at least made an effort to get correct authentic looking wire instead of the modern `reverse twist` stuff!!. poor.
I'd be curious to see the shell stampings. Its only redeeming value might be if the shell itself is original. I certainly agree with the opinions expressed as to its current fascade.

bought this for $120 dollers at the farnham militaria fair(uk guys will know where i mean.)
a guy was selling it next to a couple of originals looked at the price tags and felt a rumble in my pants so i settled for this repro.i know most people dont like repros but it is one helmet i am missing in my collection i would be in my box before i could afford one for real it now sits between my lufty and army heer.so long as repros are sold as repros i see no problem. its when thier passed off as real as seems to happen so often these days.thats partly why i bought it i know its a repro and i paid for a repro rather than get stung for a couple of grand.
