Many of you know that this isn't my area.
So im asking for help from you.

I just got this helmet in and i think the liner is bad, but im not sure about the decal.

Here is mine. I don't know too much on fire-police liners, but I know mine has good providence. It is without a doubt real. So may be it can help you.

Bob,

I am not really into these Feuerpolizei helmets but I believe it to be a post-war example that someone has embellished with a repro Police decal. Very rarely will you see one of these without the party shield on the right and, with the twin salt shaker vents the decal placement was normally in between the two vents.

Bob,

The shell may have been made during the war years but I believe it has been totally refurbished and used by the post-war German Fire Dept.
