Yes that is a reproduction called the bowling pin or coke bottle eagle by some.

Looks as though there might have been another eagle on that sleeve at one time?

Thank you John. That is what I thought. You are correct that this is a replacement eagle for the wool RZM style eagle that was originally on the tunic.
