Tunic looks good - definitely a good SS-BW stencil, the kind I like to see. Where are the belt hook holes? I cannot see them in the picture. Not sure of that sleeve eagle and the sewing job on it.

Hi, I got some issues with this tunic. For one, we need to see more scans. I would like to see the collar construction including the underside and the button holes including the belt ramp holes. Also, the interior. The eagle is not a known accepted type to me and if it is a varient, it is quite crude. The SS BW stamp is way too crisp for me and too much ink was used in stamping. Let's see more. Roll Eyes

On first look, it's identical to a late-war "depot" tunic - mounds of which were taken by
US soldiers in 1945.

I owned one in the early '80s, found in an old clothing warehouse in Washington DC; for years it's been in the Embree collection. These typically have only the sl. eagle for insignia and most are mint as this one appears to be.

That said, some of the construction details on this one look a little "off-center" or something....
