Hi All:

Thought you might like this view I just found of THE Rhm dagger. Keep your eyes out for it at the Max!

You might also check my updated list on my website (Got One of These?) of some ided numbered SS daggers whose current owners are MIA. Perhaps this could be your lucky day!

Enjoy!

Ross can you make out the SA and SS roundels in that pic?

I am working from a contact print from the 35mm negative so it is hard to get any tiny detail. I was surprised it came out as good as it did. But it is suspended from the special chained hanger as seen in the Rhm portrait in Volume Two of Tom Johnson's German Daggers of World War II: A Photographic Reference. The boys sitting around don't seem to be too impressed though.

Enjoy!

Nice find Ross, actually an important pic since any photos with Rohm and his dagger are so scarce. Thanks for sharing it. One can only wonder what happened to this piece... who knows, may turn up on eBay one day...

I'll lay odds there are no ID #s on that man's Full Rohm!

Except that it just 'might' have a VERY LARGE "1" on it!

As Rohm was quite a flamboyant character!

Who Knows? Hopefully Ross will find out even more
information! ...Dave/dblmed
