Without even seeing the inscription on this dagger in question, any experienced collector can tell you that it is a fake.
Aesculap honor daggers with the R�hm inscription have
ALWAYS a smaller makers mark, which is closer to the crossguard compared to the larger makers mark of a regular service dagger from Aesculap.
Check this picture. On the left and on the right you can see two Aesculap honor daggers. The left one is a partial ground R�hm honor dagger, the right is fully ground from Aesculap. Check the location of the makers mark and the size compared to the one on the regular Aesculap service dagger in the middle

So, how come that the full R�hm which is offered by Weitze has the wrong makers mark?
