hello gents, not sure this should go here....
I put this together recently.
an armor's maintenance box ,for parts for the 1911.

I found the pressed cardboard box (for a card game ?)at a 2d hand store. painted it , ect, & built the wood trays (junk pine).
took a bit to figure where to place / space each part.
I was told years ago, something like this existed in the military but, have never seen such a thing....So I made one.
now no fear of losing my extra parts.

need to ad the numbers to go with the list.
how some one likes this.

a guy e-mailed me to say he has a photo of an original one from ww2 & plans to send it to me.
