I picked this along with a set of dress blues at a flea market the other day. All the badges except for the VN wings are marked 10/20 or STERLING. I'm thinking that the uniform dates from the 80's but all the insignia look a little older. The guy I got it from bought in a lot from a mini warehouse and didn't know it's history. The tailor labels were from Sugarman's in San Antonio Texas. Maybe someone here may have even known Captain Sullivan. Thanks

Never have seen a airborne tab above a Army Service Force SSI.
Show a complete frontal pic,to me it seems you are showing 2 different jackets.
I think the DUI's are Walter Reed Medical Center. THis might be a put together tunic.A hodge podge of different cut edge/merrow edge insignia, etc

Thanks Mark, the DI's are indeed for Walter Reed. I'm away from home now and don't have a good shot of the complete front. The jacket came with pants and a set of dress blues including its pants and suspenders all from the same tailor. I like you have never seen a service force patch with an airborne tab and think it maybe against army regulations. Looking at the total package I don't believe it is a put together but from a time of transition and maybe a little of the liberal interpretation of army regs. by an old school special forces officer.

Being a Medic Captain at Walter Reed, I would think he should be findable with a bit of research. The SF wing oval is the earlier style, I think only used into the 60s.

Thanks Jerry, I thought he would be easy to track down. I've been looking around but have not found him yet.
