Hey SuperDuke!

THAT is a VERY nice dagger right there! Sparkling blade, superclean? I never saw that makermark before on a dagger, only in a book! Scabbard looks great! And a 3-pieced hanger, that alone is not often seen? Especially in good condition like yours! Great view. Thanks for sharing!

Sincerely,
Karin-Renate

Very nice well done just gently clean that nicotine crap off it patina it ain't potential damage it sure is and that dagger don't deserve that

You have a very nice and rare dagger with outstanding patina that I personally would never clean. It speaks of the history of your dagger, and natural beauties like that do not come around everyday. All you will accomplish by cleaning you dagger fittings is taking away historic and monetary value. Regards,Forton

Wonderfull dagger, I have only seen one other, it must be a McSarr 10 +++. Is it worth while hitting any of the flea markets in Paris for WWII era items ? Are there any shops in the area you could recommend for the same ?

Hey Russian,

Opinions are different! Nakida says itsa 9, with about 1000 daggers made, and Siegert says itsa 10 with also 1000 made So, reckon the decisive vote goes to McSarr ... ?
