Hi I just received this in the post this morning ,its stamped 57 LAGO 1941 the Eagle is pinback (though it was bent at the top in the post on its way to me).There doesnt appear to be to much information on Landwacht headgear so perhaps this might help.Rob.

DePhillipi has a picture in his book, Des Coifures de Troisieme Reich, of a landwacht Officer's visor, but this could possibly have been made up. I have one which probably was made up from a Gend. Office's Hat. I can scan De Phillipis book and send a picture of mine, if anyone is interested.
I have seen several Landwacht eagles with the normal hat pins, instead of a pin-back as youare describing.
