Link credit: The NSDAP Awards Forum This was posted in a research area of another forum.. I'm posting it here in this CL topic because it shows a large amount of button related pieces . Most 3rd eich CLs were from Button related manufacturers.. This is from the famous 'Firma F.W. Assmann & Sohne. So click on it or copy and paste and check out their catalog. http://www.uniform-buttons.com/clanky-firma-f.-w.-assmann-sohne.htmlThere is a lot of very interesting pieces they made for all branches of service of the 3rd reich.... OK, hope you enjoy it....,G.

Heres a really nice quality pair of cufflinks on auction.. Great detail etc.. KM items are always hard to find/get.. Same with the rings, KM is hard. When you do find one its could always be pre-war piece etc. You'll see more of the KM cufflinks then the rings! Anyway,,here they are:

Wow, missed this post.. The leader set is outstanding! All 3 wonderful rare period pieces.. Cufflinks have become sadly very hard to find. And, like our rings have become expensive..
Cufflinks like these,,,you do what you have to do to acquire them!! Thanks for showing John..

here's a set I saw recently on a auction.. Early patriotic pieces. They tried many different methods prewar..
These seem to be painted [on reverse] glass!. Crimped together and with the standard back.. A interesting set for sure:

found old photos.. The one photo a bit of distortion towards front..
there was a ring made looking exactly as these CL do,,,had same front ,plain thin band....Sometimes they did some trickery and one die was used..

a weird pair!! Probably not German but they are old.. Looks like a War Service Cross [but its not].. Has black and a red enamel. Workmanship is not so good... The group is a pair a cufflinks and a pin.. Can anyone ID the language is behind the cufflinks?? French?

The back says they are made in "Brux" which I think might be Brussels.

Just a guess for discussion......... Ofcourse I know the Spanish Falange symbol.......but could this cufflink be inspired by the Fallange design or is it coincidence and do I see more than there is ?

Gaspare,
Brussels they speak mostly French in my experience With a sizable minority speaking Dutch. The subject of two languages is contentious, much as French/English in Canada.
The city is on the dividing line between the two languages spoken in Belgium. The French spoken there is the same as in Paris, with a few local expressions thrown in

Benten,,,,,on the links.. Most countries have there own type of setting design. The way the toggle is, or solder or pinned etc.
They are a nice high quality pair.. Best is to look at other known cufflinks from Spain past and present to see if construction and design is similar...

Yes Gaspare, the cufflink is Art-Déco with Spanish style. We will keep looking for comparison .

When I'm surfing around the net I sometimes come across a piece for the forum.. So clean out time so I'll post them here and hopefully they will help someone..
For those who just collect cufflinks it's been really hard. Few around,,you really got to hit it hard to find something.. Luckily the copies usually aren't very good ..
Here's a set I'm pretty sure is authentic.. Italian made, of everyone's favorite Italian to dislike!
A nice set to have in a collection,,,enjoy! IF you come across a pair you think are authentic put them up. Or if your not sure or have any questions about them,,put them up!! Thanks..............
