Here a German Art Déco ring from the twenties/thirties(?), marked 900 and initials GBB( two first names). The initials are between reddish and yellow gold colored; the color depends on the light reflexion. I hope you like this ring as I do.

It could be like often on these rings an oriental plant, like palmleafs. This ring shows a Lotus flower I suppose. I don't know exactly what's below the flower, fruit or a date.

Wow, stunning! Excellent quality..... The flower designs were common on period rings,,they are usually Tulips, Poppy, Edelweiss or Sunflower or a stylization of them...,G.

In deed this flower could be a Tulip instead of an opening Lotus as thought. Somebody told me that 3 initials( two first names) are usualy used by aristorcratic people, it's not always the case imo. The ring size is very large, 23mm!! It falls off my fingers. That's ofcourse because I'm not an aristocrat!! Thanks for your info Gaspare.
