And, finally a group shot... big & small.

Thank you, all for looking...

They will be appearing as backdrops to Eichorn marked blades coming to a thread near you in the near future.

John,

I heard there was going to be a big squirrel convention up north ... Big Grin ... guess it's true.

Very, very nice!

Hey John,
Are the black porcelain squirrels worth anything?
I have several hanging around my house!

Denny:

From here it looks to me like the black squirrel is a well-known organic fake, quite widely reproduced in wooded parts of North America.

You would be nuts to pay anything much for these!

You have seen the white Allach Eichhorn in my collection and here is the coloured version of the same squirrel.

One of Prof Karner's best, in my opinion.

Thanks to Kris Lindblom for pointing this out to me on the German E-bay site.

Really quite detailed and amazing! I can't believe this stuff
survived!

Were these made in one place or different places!

I do miss Kris on the forum!

A little bit out in the woods with squirres sometimes but
always enjoyed his banter!

I did see him at SOS!

Thanks for showing John!

Paul:

Kris has been very helpful to me over the years... he helped me find both Allach squirrels and a Julleuchter.

He is one of the good ones, but can get emotional at times.

A big thank you to WWIICollector for these very heavy bookends.

Tom, you are a good man.

And, yes, they play well with my squirrel posse.

Great stuff John. Are these wood carvings? You mentioned they're heavy, could they be bronze?

Thank You ! I just saw this post eek I rarely get out of the army forum - I am glad you like the squirrels - I believe they are Art Deco vintage 20,s or 30,s and have a great look and patina when I saw them I thought of you !! I knew they belonged in Canada with your wonderful Eickhorn collection.
