Thread one above should read Neal my 7/72 is dated 1942 Lakesidetrader has had a few SAs with the same mark. the mark on my SS is shown in the "1942 dated daggers" thread I pointed you to

I hope that someday, someone will come up with the maker for 1196. I own one and think that its unique because I believe this is the only one stamped with the SS as letters and not runes.
