Looks OK to me.I have the same mark on mine ,un-known maker.Do a search and you will find some discussion on this type of mark.

Everything looks just like it should on that dagger.
By the way, that is the only RZM SS mark where the "SS" is in real letters instead of lightning bolt runes.

Here is my 1196/38. Its in about the same condition as Eds. Glad to know that theres a few of us out there who own one with the same maker. One of the reasons I bought this one from Chip Gambino was because of this unique mark. Maybe someday there will be a definate on who the maker was.

It is interesting to see that the grip eagle and grip centerline on the front of this grip are off center by more than 1/8". Anyone seen this before on SS daggers?
