The armband is bought from a well known military antique dealer in the us(no guarantee i know)!! Would be strange if they would sell printed HJ armbands as originales if they were not even made during the war. Is it possible these were made as an low budget versions or made at the end of the war ? I have no reference book in this matter so please give me your opinions !!! Thanks, Hakan

All printed HJ armbands are considered to be fake. There has never been a documented example found. Fake ones started turning up in the late 60's. Yours could look old but it would be an old fake. Bob

The longer you collect, the more chance you have to be fooled again. I would avoid buying again from the dealer you purchased this from if he refuses a refund. Bob

Now i have seen in JR Angolias book The HJ, page 183 that he shows a printed version of a HJ armband, which was prohibited by regulationes. They seem to have existed anyway as an non-regulation version as well as the homemade wool version on the same side. Have seen some moore of these homemade and non-regulation armbands at some other dealers today claiming some HJ members made them there self in lack of money because it was a privare purchase. What do you think ? Thanks, Hakan
