Stick pins and membership pins had rzm stamps, but I'm doubtful Rings ever did because they were not officially issued but privately purchased most of the time.

That is exactly right big mike
It is a hallmark of a fake ring
Someone is going to lose a lot of money today
I am trying to get more views on this thread than
Watchers of the auction so far we are about 10 views behind
We have no dog in this fight here
Just trying to save a guy a buck
And keep history alive

Mike, 100%, these rings , cufflinks etc. we like to collect never would have a RZM on them.
They are 'Private Purchase'. Made and sometimes sold by a privately owned jeweler.
Anyone whether military or civilian can walk in / or order and get these pieces..

Hallmarks whether content or maker, quality marks, or even ges. gesh. are what can sometimes be seen in rings. Usually nothing or just a content mark..

Everyone has some repro something hopefully we all buy it and sell it as such
I have no problem with that
If the listing said repro HJ
Maybe 25-50 bucks buy it now or something maybe someone wants it as
A wearer or in a display the originals are very rare and very pricey
G has a very nice cased one
I have one too no case a tad less enamel but so delicate and rare
Who knows maybe that is what a repro goes for
But I dont think so as the buyer is fraudulently representing it as an original
Andy knows the real HJ and how rare it is
I do not even know if odal has one
G and myself are the only ones I know of now
Amazing some of these beautiful and intricate little rings
Survived the war

hi mike
yes in my honest opinion in collecting german ww2 rings the hj is probly the rarest and hardest one to find in condition but not the one that just sold for 600.00 maybe worth 40-50 bucks and as far as an auction these people who run the auctions know good from bad believe me and remember this they have thier own shills in the audience to run the prices up and all auctions love to have two people bidding against each outher and raise the price to the moon. i would rather deal with an honest relible dealer who guarentees his merchandise to me for my honest money and for over fifty years i gave and still give money back no questions asked why some one buys a fake ring for this high sum of money is beyond me but so be it next case god bless every one have a great thanksgiving holidas andy militarynut
