As a run up to MAX, I had thought to post a list of early maker-marked by rarity as I did here 10-15 years ago. Nothing scientific, just my thoughts after looking at web sites, forums, etc.

What I found was that there are very few daggers in top condition and they are:

Eickhorn small double oval ( ground Rohm)
Boker (second TM)
Hammesfahr
KLass (Large TM)

Their prices are pretty stiff.

The other one that used to be common, RA Herder, is much harder to find.

All the rest are seldom seen and expensive. I used to able to rate them but so few are around that it is impossible now.

Strangely enough, Himmler and Eickhorn Full Rohm inscriptions seen more often than years ago.

Anybody see the market differently?

Dave

Hi Dave you are correct there seem to be a steady supply of full Rohm SA and Himmlers at any given time good chained SS and really good M33 SS are scarce. NPEA are almost none existent on the market good ones seem to move quickly high priced Himmlers not so much good Rohms SS or SA sell cheers and best Ryan

It will be interesting to see what is available at the MAX.

well back from Max didn't look at the "Big Name" tables but saw plenty of M-33 daggers. Not one was without two or three issues, not one I would be happy with Lots of chained type I and II prices on SA daggers were very high for the most part even RZM saw RZM SA in mediocre condition for $600+. some things reasonably priced but not much cheers and best, Ryan
