Don't know exactly what it is,, I mean we can see its a stic pin.. But,,from where and what time period.. Kinda says Freikorps to me,,the pin itself looks too new though.. Pin looks brass or alloy of. *The skull has silver paint on it? What do you think material is? Silver? zinc? brass alloy?

Not sure but it's not painted. Looks like it was a pin original to the piece too, in hand- doesn't at all look new. Whatever it is or was, it's early- the whole piece. On the tony Barto ss the consensus was also freikorps or freikorps like, nothing new about it. Looks like a skull ring skull to me!

yes weird,,skull looks old,,pin newish.. It just might have been cleaned... Many organizations used skulls. Some very subtle,,like just a stic pin.. What ever it is,,I like it..

very nice and interesting piece. Could be German military or fraternal item. But, worth keeping and enjoying.
